The Klawer Cheese and Wine Day, held on 16 March 2024, attracted about 70 patrons to Klawer Wine Cellars. The guests were treated to an unforgettable experience that combined Kokerboom artisanal cheese complemented by Klawer wines.

Attendees also enjoyed a relaxing day with friends and family.

The event brought together wine enthusiasts providing them with an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas and enjoy the rich world of wine while indulging in a variety of Kokerboom artisanal cheese.

The event gave vendors such as Kokerboom cheese and Nellies Bistro the opportunity to share their products and connect with potential customers.

This event also offered the opportunity to shoppers as well as cheese and wine lovers, to connect and discover unique and creative cheeses and wines they may not have found elsewhere while also enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.

It was heartwarming to see people from in and around Klawer come together to celebrate this culinary experience.

Kokerboom Cheese offers a variety of products ranging from a delicious cream cheese rolled in Paprika named the flamingo to a rich blue cheese called the stilton.

Guests could hear what the winemaker had to say about Klawer wines and the cheesemaker elaborated on the making process and flavour palates each cheese presented.

After guests moved along the line tasting wine and cheese combinations, they could head out and grab a bite. Nellie’s Bistro offered some delicious hamburgers and nachos as well as their famous iced coffee.
