He studied cellar technology at Elsenburg Agricultural College outside Stellenbosch. Subsequently he worked in Wachau Valley in Austria to gain experience, and returned to join Durbanville Hills Winery before he was appointed at Klawer Wine Cellars.
Sean says,"There is a saying that making good wine is a skill, but making fine wine is an art. This is what I am striving for together with the team at Klawer Wine Cellars". When he is not busy with all things WINE, Sean relishes the outdoors, especially water sports, fishing and golf.
